Hampshire Universal Touch Screen Controller News: TSHARC, UniWinDriver new Revision 6.15 for RS-232, PS/2 and USB
Hampshire Company, Inc., a world leader in universal touch screen electronics and software has announced the release of their latest TSHARC™ Universal, Windows® driver “UniWinDriver™” revision 6.15 for Windows® 98se, ME, XP and 2000 operating systems.
While Hampshire® has provided multi-monitor, PS/2 touch screen support since 1996, this functionality has now been updated and added to the latest TSHARC™ “UniWinDriver™” rev. 6.15 which now concurrently supports: RS-232, PS/2 and USB communications in conjunction with any combination of TSHARC™: “12m”,“12v” or “10 or 12 Octopus” touch screen controller chips or boards connected to any manufacturers 4, 5, or 8 wire analog resistive touch screens.
Replaces TSHARC™: UniWinDriver™ Rev.: 6.12 & PS/2 driver Rev.: 5.04 with this added functionality:
1) PS/2 support for single or multi monitor applications.
2) Concurrent RS-232, PS/2 or USB support.
3) Concurrent RS-232, PS/2 and USB multi-monitor, communication independent support.
4) Minor performance enhancements for all communication and touch screen types.
Who should update to this latest driver revision? Any authorized users of TSHARC™ touch screen controllers who do not require “Softzones” and are currently running Windows® 98se, ME, 2000 or XP for RS-232, PS/2 or USB communications.
Before you install this latest driver revision: Un-install your current TSHARC™ driver by running the un-install program (TSUN10.exe) located in the “Common” directory of the new UniWinDriver.
